The Edinburg ‘Ole Time Festival

October 7, 2010

On the second weekend of September the town of Edinburg, VA (town-proper population: 897, give or take a few) hosted its 31st annual Edinburg ‘Ole Time Festival. Next year we hope family and friends from out of town will come share in the local experience, including local historians who give talks on the Civil War as well as duck races on the river and tours of the Edinburg Mill from the mid-1800s.

Come on down now, ya here?

Ruritans Booth, Hamburgers, Cheeseburgers, Ham Sandwiches, Tenderloin, and Curly Fries (sorry, you health-conscious green-lovers!)

Papaw Bowman flipping burgers at the Ruritan Stand. Uniform look familiar? I wasn't lying when I said that it never comes off...
